Job Description:

Litigation Associate Attorney (100% Remote - California)

Presented by: Reclatam Recruiting

Salary: $100,000 – $200,000 (DOE)

Practice Area: Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury

Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere in CA)

The Opportunity

Are you a self-driven litigator who produces high-quality work without the need for an office environment? We are representing a modern, technology-forward California Personal Injury firm that has eliminated the "commute culture."

This is not a "document review" role. This is a high-level litigation position for an attorney who enjoys the technical side of a case—discovery, pleadings, and procedural strategy—and wants the freedom to manage their desk independently.

Core Responsibilities

  • Autonomous Litigation: Manage your own calendar and caseload across all California counties. From Case Management Statements to virtual Zoom appearances, you own the file progression.
  • Pleading & Discovery: Draft comprehensive complaints, propound/respond to discovery, and master the "Meet and Confer" process independently.
  • Specialized Filings: Handle the nuances of Tort Claim Act notices and public entity litigation with high accuracy.
  • Team Synergy: Coordinate virtually with a dedicated paralegal team to ensure discovery responses are timely and case files are "trial-ready."
  • Strategy & Research: Tackle complex research projects and draft winning oppositions to dispositive motions.

Candidate Requirements

  • Active CA Bar License: Must be in good standing.

  • Litigation Experience: 4–7 years of California personal injury or civil litigation experience.
  • The "Accurate" Mindset: A proven track record of managing a litigation calendar with zero missed deadlines.
  • Tech Proficiency: You should be a "power user" of cloud-based case management software and virtual court platforms.
  • Communication: Ability to manage and direct support staff remotely while maintaining clear communication with the Managing Partner.

Why This Role is Different

  • No Commute, No Office: Reclaim 10+ hours of your week. This role is permanently 100% remote.
  • Statewide Practice: Represent clients in every jurisdiction from San Diego to Redding without leaving your home office.
  • Modern Growth: Join a firm that values efficiency and technology over "billable hours at a desk."
